Distress Oxides and Layered Stamping

I cannot tell you how much I love the new Distress Oxides from Ranger. I received my shipping notice that the 12 newest colors are winging their way to my house this week. Unable to contain my excitement, I pulled out my old ones to create this colorful design sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps. The images are from Multi Step Carnation and Make a Big Statement.

Texas Night Lights

I am back today after a week away enjoying the simple country life that my wonderful state of Texas has to offer. My time away was an inspiration for today's Let's Make a Scene design sponsored by Kitchen Sink Stamps. This week's scene depicts an old farm truck under an antique street light surrounded by fireflies!! Hope you love it as much as I loved making it!

CCEE1723 - World Ocean Day

According to CCEE hostess, Frances Bryne, today is World Ocean Day, so the challenge this week is to create a card that reminds you of something related to the ocean.

I combined a couple of my newest nautical treasures to create today's card. The images are from other side of fear by Unity. The die cut ocean waves are from the Sea Breeze Collection: Gentle Ocean by Couture Creations. I just noticed that I glued the waves in upside down. I better pay closer attention next time. LOL!!

The sets used include: Multi Step Birch Trees, Multi Step Cabin by the Lake, Multi Step Lilacs, Multi Step Lighthouse, and Multi Step Tree Friends. CCEE1722 - Donut Day!

Frances Byrne is our CCEE Stampers hostess for the month of June. She has informed us that apparently the 2nd of June is Donut Day. In honor of donuts everywhere, she has challenged us to create something that has some type of "hole" in it. It can be a donut, cheese, fancy fold card with a hole … anything.

The fold flat diorama card I made on Monday had a great big hole in it so I decided to do a redesign on that for Donut Day! Today, however, I made it with the same design on both the front and back so that it can be used as a table decoration.

The scripture is from Our Daily Bread Designs.
The leaves are from Avant Garden by Stampin' Up.
The die cut crosses are from Spellbinders.
